Themed Entertainment Minor

I enjoy the challenge of bringing positivity into people's lives, especially if they are facing hardships or seeking enriching experiences. I would like to use my analytical, design, and project management skills to assess people's needs and desires, then to create practical and entertaining products and spaces that produce a positive experience. I am a second-year student interested in designing themed and intentional spaces, products, services, and experiences.

Creative Writing Minor

I am Hannah Zbierski, a BFA illustration student with a minor in Creative Writing. I grew up in New Jersey about 45 minutes outside New York City where I used to visit the museums and became interested in the arts. I’ve worked closely with the education of the arts both with adults and children throughout my schooling and one day hope that my interests can reach others and I can communicate the importance of creating.

Sherry Quan

BFA Industrial Design

I‘m a graduating industrial designer and I'm very interested in discovering the relationship between people and products. Over the past few years, my goal has been to enhance the interactive experience through my products and to investigate the possibility of mechanical structures in product design.

Camilla De Lima Freitas

BFA Interior Design

Hi, I'm Camilla and I am an interior design major. I've always been passionate about evidence-based design, particularly in healthcare. I believe design can be a powerful tool to improve people's lives. My background has played a significant role in shaping my worldview and approach to design. Growing up in Brazil exposed me to diverse cultures and experiences, teaching me the importance of collaboration and considering multiple perspectives when approaching complex design challenges. Throughout my academic career, I've honed my skills in spatial planning, material selection, and color theory, working on a range of design projects. As I continue to pursue my passion for design, I'm committed to bringing my creativity, expertise, and dedication to every project I work on.

Emily Davis

BFA Advertising / Branding

I am driven by a passion to make people feel seen, especially when they are dealing with the stress of health concerns. I would like to use my background in healthcare and empathy for patient experience to create a personal connection with patients and help them to feel comfortable enough to advocate for their pain. I am a junior interested in graphic design, building brand identity, and improving web experience.

Olivia Hazelet

BFA Fibers

I am a graduating fibers major studying print and pattern design for the home and hospitality. My goal is to make people feel welcomed and comfortable in a space filled with warmth and joy. Colors, motifs, linework, and textures represent these feelings and how I want an individual to feel in their home, workspace, and place of stay. Combining my skills with this project has truly been an engaging and knowledgeable experience that I will never forget.

Art Direction Minor

I'm on a journey to be a more emotionally and socially conscious advertiser. I'm extremely passionate about changing the AD industry to be more ethical and sustainable. I love using colorful illustrations and bold graphics to create immersive multimedia campaigns that promote events like festivals, pop-up experiences, and sporting events. Eventually, I want to create an AD dream team filled with fiercely creative fine artists from different disciplines to work on full branding for events and interactive pop-ups.

My name is Kendra Fairbank and I am an aspiring interior designer studying to get my Bachelors from Savannah College of Art and Design. I strive to create lasting experiences for people by designing beautiful spaces. I am a detail oriented designer and always try to improve my designs by understanding the needs of the space. There are so many little details in design that can make every person's experience in a space all the more enjoyable and these features are often overlooked. I hope to create spaces that can help improve people's interactions by utilizing beautiful design.

Sonalika Debnath

MFA Service Design

I’m passionate about solving difficult problems using the design lens of vulnerability, human connections, accessibility, and growth. I’m pursuing an MFA in service design and studying its influential role in this time of increased uncertainty. I aim to create meaningful journeys for businesses by using stories, culture, and design.

Brian Huetteman

BFA Painting

Brian Huetteman is a senior in SCAD's painting department. He is concerned with why we interact with art and how it benefits us. The role of fine arts in society is not as easily defined as other fields, but this is where the curiosity stems from. Through his interest in music, painting, writing, and theory, Brian commits to posing unanswerable questions. Because everyone experiences art differently, we can only ask (not answer) these questions through creating. Thus, it is by making artwork that Brian seeks to open himself and others up to new options for creating and consuming art.

Ivy Ruoyu Wangh

MFA Interactive Design

As a jewelry and UX/UI designer, I combine my creativity and technical skills to design visually appealing and user-friendly jewelry products and digital interfaces. My expertise is in understanding the aesthetic and functional needs of the customers and translating that into aesthetically pleasing jewelry designs and intuitive digital user experiences. I work closely with clients, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to bring my designs to life and create products that meet the needs of the target audience.

Fozzie Kretschmer

BFA UX Design

I am a sophomore pursuing a BFA in user experience design from SCAD, graduating 2025. We form complex relationships with the technology we encounter day-to-day, and as a UX designer, I strive to find those small changes that will positively impact the relationships we form and how we interact with the world around us. Let's connect!

Sophie Flathouse

BFA Industrial Design

With a deep understanding of the intersection between form and function, I am driven to design products that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. From an early age, I have been fascinated by the power of design to shape the way we live, work, and interact with the world around us. For me, the most rewarding aspect of industrial design is the opportunity to make people happy with the products I create. I believe that the right design can bring joy and satisfaction to users of all ages.
